Being Frightened before speaking

December 3, 2014

It takes great courage to admit you are frightened before delivering a speech. Yet this is what Prince Harry did, when he admitted he gets very nervous and anxious before a speaking engagement. Given that Prince Harry is a marvellous public speaker, who really engages with his audiences, is relaxed and projects an authenticity about him, I admire Harry for being so honest. Harry’s speeches are greatly valued by the people (and charities) he supports, and his speeches are streamed throughout the world. Podcast.

Superstar Communicator Itunes Podcasts

In this week’s Superstar Communicator podcast, I share the secret of being fearful. It is something EVERYONE feels before they speak, perform or play a sport. The most famous musicians, actors, singers and sportspeople get REALLY nervous before they perform, and they have had to learn how to prepare themselves so they use the benefits of being nervous with performing well.

I hope you enjoy listening to the podcast.
