To be a Superstar Communicator™ you need your voice to be healthy. It’s one of those things that we assume will look after itself, only to find when tested that you end up with a croak, sore throat or complete loss of voice.
As with all our sessions, these were developed to be adapted to our client’s needs. We take a holistic approach in these sessions because it is rarely one thing that is causing issues. Having worked with hundreds of speakers, trainers, teachers and lecturers on vocal health and production, we use a variety of techniques to ensure they use their voices in a healthy way; thus avoiding vocal strain or loss.
These are usually one to one sessions but can be delivered in small groups. You can also take the course as online learning. The framework covers;
- Why you are suffering from vocal strain or losing your voice frequently.
- How to produce the voice in a healthy way.
- Projecting the voice.
- Pacing yourself when you are using the voice, to ensure you can get through a day’s training.
- Vocal health: tips and lifestyle changes to look after your voice.
These one hour sessions are usually conducted in a mirrored studio so you can correct your posture, identify where you hold tension in your body, work on breathing and how it looks and feels to speak in a relaxed yet effective way.
