Thriving by being in the moment to manage stress is crucial now. Our Podcast guest is Darren Harris who has competed in 2 Paralympic Games in 2 different sports and has become England’s most capped and most decorated blind footballers. Darren candidly shared how he managed his fear and nerves when competing at a high level by focusing on small things. We discussed managing our anxiety during the pandemic, including controlling what we read on social media. This episode was recorded and released in April 2020, during the first lockdown. Darren’s style was warm and engaging; his examples and tips were really clear to understand and implement.
This was an inspirational episode for many listeners (and also people that engaged with the blog summary or downloaded the transcript). One comment was “This has given me lots of ideas for managing my anxiety” another was “Darren is amazing; what an inspiration”.
